As soon as I saw these coral beads, I wanted to show them off with a pair of earrings. There was something about the naturally spongy chips that I just don't see in coral beads that are unnaturally round and polished smooth. With that in mind, I matched the red coral with a warm copper wire, forming the flowing branches of a coral reef with a rough texture technique that's impossible to perfectly duplicate. Also, by not making the earrings mirror-image copies of each other, I heightened the natural randomness of the piece.$40
