Silvered copper wire and glass gem. A little under two inches long.


A variation on "The Lion's Share" [link] in silver wire. I was just finishing up the last side-flourish on the left, and the wire broke. I like these side flourishes just as much, though. They're a little more subtle and understated.

Someday, I'm going to make a tutorial on how to make unique wire-wrapped necklaces in general, but you can have a sneak preview:

1. There are no rules! 
2. Go buy some 20ga craft wire, and find an object you want to wrap.
3. Wrap it in a style you like.
4. It just has to securely hold the gem(s) and/or bead(s) in place.

(I don't think I'll ever do step-by-step instructions on how to duplicate my work, though.)
