Starlit Sorceress Jewelry

Check out my website for details: [link]
+Watch me to see my new designs as they come out [link]

Silvered copper wire and glass gem. A little over two inches long.

Designed for a friend to match her dress for a wedding. (I was actually able to photograph the necklace ON the dress.) She wanted this design: [link] with a double teardrop flourish as seen in these two: [link]

Hm, kinda neutral on this one.

The shape is really elegant.
I try my own wire work but it's in the earliest of stages (and really simple) and I'm trying to find something to follow as I workout what to do. You're work is the most interesting I have come across :)

would you mind telling me what kind of wire you use for this? my mom and I do things like this but the wire we use is horridly difficult. xD

I use enamel-coated 20ga copper wire, but really most kinds of 20ga wire are just as easy to work with. Try copper wire from the hardware store or craft wire from Wal Mart.

(And if you find aluminum wire anywhere, whatever you do, get a thicker gauge than 20! 18 maybe.)
